Poison d'avril (DVD)
March 2002: While the electoral campaign is in full swing, aggressive journalist Simon Barrachet takes over as head of a TV news programme and starts to impose his personal views on the news. The news team experiences a period of major change while the themes of the 2002 campaign dominate every screen: the absence of electoral challenges in the first round and a supposed explosion of violence in France. A politically incorrect drama that incorporates actual images from the 2002 presidential campaign, interviews with candidates and excerpts from TV news programmes. A film by William Karel (93 min.), starring Anne Brochet, Bruno Todeschini, Olivier Gourmet, Patrick Descamps, Valérie Leboutte, Grégoire Oestermann and Maryline Canto.
