The decision to appoint Patrick Vidal as producer for this compilation was an easy one. Patrick has always supported Têtu magazine's adventures and the parties, some highly memorable, held in its honour over the years. But that's not the only reason. Vidal has never hidden the fact that he is gay, has always been a militant supporter of the cause and remains a highly respected DJ among the straight house and clubbing fraternity. We thus admire the man himself along with his unrivalled musical knowledge, boundless curiosity, anti-celebrity attitude and masterful sets, for which the term "magical" seems faint praise. That just about sums it up – except for one final yet essential thing, and the whole reason for making this compilation: Let's dance! -Patrick Thévenin
